Hi, I’m Melanie! It’s so nice to meet you….

I have been the owner of Salon You & Co. for 14 years. It’s a beautiful boutique salon in the small town of Taylor, PA. Every day I look forward to learning something new and making people look and feel their very best!

I’ve been a stylist for over 20 years. After being in the industry for 9 years, my husband and I decided to open our salon doors back in the town I started doing hair and called it our forever home. I love being creative, while staying up-to-date on the latest trends and using ingredients that are not only good for the environment but are also good for us. I love all areas of this industry and being behind the chair is where my passion is fulfilled. Taking advanced classes constantly is something I am deeply proud of. If you like change, I’m the girl for you!

When I’m not in the salon, I am spending quality time with my family. My amazing husband and I have three beautiful girls and a pit bull we rescued, named Dolly. We love making dinner together, trying new recipes and watching movies. You will find us on the ski slopes in the winter, poolside in the summer and just being together is where my family loves to be. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hi, I’m Rachel! I Can’t wait to meet you…..

My name is Rachel, but most people call me Rae. I’ve been a hairstylist since 2011. I started working in a salon when I was fifteen. I always knew I wanted to be a hairstylist and absolutely love being in a salon setting and atmosphere.

I wanted to continue my education, and so I went to barber school. I wanted to excel in men’s haircutting so I worked in a barbershop for a few years.

I love working at Salon you, it’s my forever home. It’s such a great feeling working alongside an incredible woman like Melanie. My passion is having the privilege to make men and women look and feel their very best. I’m constantly learning new haircuts, hair color and different techniques to stay up-to-date. My favorite part of giving a service is teaching my guest something about a product or how to do a style, that they can take home with them.

On my off time, I’m always looking forward to spend quality time with my husband, family, and friends. We love to watch movies, play board games, go bowling, have dance parties and laugh a lot. My husband and I have two pets, Harley our cat and Oliver our new puppy.

One last thing about me is that I always will do my best to make your experience an unforgettable one.
